An 18ct gold ruby and diamond crossover ring, circa 1920, claw set with round-cut rubies and old-cut diamonds, each ruby weighing approx 0.80ct, total diamond content approx 0.2ct, setting height 7.3mm, size K, 3g . Rubies are well matched deep pinkish red with several internal wispy veil inclusions visible through a loupe, diamonds quite bright and lively, general wear to mount, marked 18ct
