Art Nouveau brooch

An Art Nouveau pearl and diamond brooch, of whiplash floral design, featuring an egg-shaped pearl of 8.3 x 7.4 mm, mounted to an openwork mount with millgrained edge fully set with single-cut diamonds, further suspending a later-added drop, brooch fittings to the reverse, unmarked metal testing as platinum on 14ct, drop testing as silver, 3.6 x 2.5 cm, 4.2 grams.
